Meet with Mingaile Žemaityte-Meldaike, who is creating her unique path in the field of education alongside the initiative "Švietimo Nuotykiai". Her relationship with nature goes beyond superficial beauty – it is a source of life, which she respects, admires, and draws inspiration from. Mingailė shares her understanding that nature is not just a resource we can use, but also a gift that allows us to return to our inner center of peace.
I enjoy being in nature, traveling, and experiencing its beauty and diversity. I feel respect for it, admire it, and seek inspiration and rest in it. Nature is a resource for me, helping me return to my center. However, sometimes I forget that this is a relationship in which I can and should not only take but also give.
Yes. Especially when I experience peace, harmony, and mindful presence, or on the contrary, when I am distanced, surrounded by noise, consumption, or hurry. Also, with the changing of seasons, for example, now that spring has arrived, it feels like the sun awakens the deepest vital energy within the body.
Unfortunately, we don't have one. However, in the evening, we try to express our gratitude.
Good health and well-being, direct sunlight, quality rest, natural sounds of nature, favorite music, creativity, authentic people.
The first image that comes to mind is one of the waterfalls in Iceland. I remember traveling around the island with my sister, and we were in awe of its beauty.
Currently, it's the oak tree. But generally, it would probably be thyme.
I really enjoy listening to and singing Lithuanian sutartinės (traditional multipart songs).
